Divorce is never easy, but it doesn’t have to be as technically complicated as most people believe. Couples who have made the difficult decision to part ways need not embark on the process alone. With the aid of an Atlanta divorce attorney at the Siemon Law Firm, clients will be able to avoid some of the pitfalls associated with divorce, including those often seen in red tape and paperwork. Divorce rates in Georgia are higher than those of the national average. In short, people facing this difficult circumstance are not alone. An Atlanta divorce lawyer will be equipped to walk couples through the process of divorce from beginning to end. The Siemon Law Firm is pleased to announce its ability to lead clients in filing for divorce and original paperwork, the settlement process and the division of property, as well as the final signing. Enlisting the aid of a qualified Atlanta Divorce Attorney with the Siemon Law Firm ensures clients that all the documentation associated with filing for divorce is both written and executed properly.

For people who are embarking on divorce, using the right law firm can mean the difference between stress and anxiety and a civil and relatively painless process. While no divorce is easy, the staff at the Siemon Law Firm can make the transition as seamless as possible.

There are a number of factors that can make facing divorce even more difficult than it already is. For example, when children are involved and a custody dispute seems inevitable, the stress of divorce is magnified. The same is true of property division. Everything from the house and vehicles to all manners of debt and bills must be addressed. In every case, it’s important for both parties to start thinking about how to handle your finances both before and after the marital dissolution. Failing to do so, and failure to put a plan in place, could result in money issues that continue – making it even more difficult to begin a new life. In many cases, Even if a divorce starts out cordial, things can change quickly when people go into survival mode. This is where the knowledge of a qualified Atlanta attorney can come in handy.

It’s not uncommon for some couples to overlook certain details, due in part to the emotional strain divorce can create. Hiring a qualified Atlanta lawyer from the Siemon Law Firm means the margin for error is diminished significantly. A high percentage of Georgia divorce cases settle before actually going to court. But it is still important to prepare the case thoroughly, to be prepared to litigate from a position of strength. Keep in mind, as well, that although there is no mandatory mediation in Georgia, individual courts may require it in a given case, especially if children are involved.

Preparing the case often includes engaging the input of other professionals, such as financial planners. If you suspect that your spouse is hiding assets, it may be necessary to hire a forensic accountant to track those assets down. Your attorney will help you determine exactly what needs to be done.

If you have any questions regarding family law issues, then contact Atlanta divorce attorney at The Siemon Law Firm LLC. You will get sound advocacy from Atlanta Uncontested Divorce lawyer.

How To Teach Kids The

Financial Planner
by Pixoria

How to teach kids the skills of financial planning?

Financial planning is already difficult for adults and it is often a forgotten subject in many schools today. The importance of teaching teens the basics of financial planning may not be underestimated and it is best they learn the ropes of financial planning from their parents. Saving, budgeting, setting goals, the use of credit cards and how to spend money are issues which can help them in their further life.

It is not an easy job and maybe you best start with teaching them the concept of money. If they don’t know why they need money and where it is used for, they will spend every penny they have. You can best start as soon as possible because once they develop a habit in saving; they will easily understand the ropes to setting goals in life.

Here are some tips which may help you to teach teens the financial skills they need to know about financial planning:

*The concept of money

Teens need to know where money comes from. It is important they know people have to work for money and is used for many purposes in life. People need money for living expenses and everything they want to buy. It is important they know that they can’t buy everything they want. It is important they understand they can’t spend more than they possess and need money for some goals in life.

*Saving

Kids will easy understand they can buy things with the money they have but it is important they can’t get all the necessary money at once. They need to save for buying more expensive goods and it is really important they understand the benefits of saving. For example, saving in a savings account offers a certain amount of interest dependent on the interest rate you have. If they understand that money makes money, they will likely learn to save and discover they will have after a time more money in their savings account than they transferred to this account.

*The habit of saving regularly

It is important they develop a habit of saving regularly. You can best teach them to save a certain percentile of their pocket money in a savings account. It is important they realize why they save and that they will only get the necessary money they need for buying something they like after several months. They also need to know that even they have saved this amount they can’t spend all the money in their savings account. They need to know some things in life can happen where they need money for and it is wise to teach them the need of a financial safety net.

*Paying bills and cutting down expenses

It is important parents teach their children to pay bills. You can take your kids with you if you go shopping and they can check the prices. They need the knowledge about how much living expenses cost. They will likely buy something which they like and you can best teach them to pay their own bills. Probably they have a cell phone and it is a good idea if you teach them to pay their cell phone bills. They can check the bill and realize that calling is expensive. If they pay their own bills they will understand to need of cutting down expenses.

Cutting down expenses has the benefit they can keep more money in their savings account and they can accumulate more money. They are smart enough to understand that they reach sooner some goals faster.

*A budget

It is wise to make your budget together with your kids. You can explain the essential needs of a budget. They need to know that a budget is necessary to cut down expenses to save enough for short-term and long-term goals. You can best take it easy when you start but after some time they will understand all the different kind of expenses. You can explain some easy ways to save money which can help to provide enough money to pay all your bills and having enough money to save for future goals. It is really important they understand the difference between short-term and long-term goals.

*A credit card and the dangers of debt

We can’t imagine a world anymore without credit cards. You need to teach your children to use them wisely and to check they don’t spend more than they have in their account. It is necessary they understand they go in debt if they spend more and that they need to pay a high interest rate for the amount they go in debt.

It is also important you teach them the risks of taking a loan. It is sometimes necessary, for example if people want to buy a house but it is important they realize they have to pay off every month a certain amount and that the interest rate can be high. They need to know that they best can limit taking loans because they otherwise they can come in a situation that they never can pay off their loan. They need to know the dangers of too much debt and that this danger can cause a financial disaster.

Teens can never know enough about financial planning but you need to take the necessary time to teach your children the necessary knowledge. It is best you teach them the necessary skills step by step and warn them enough about the dangers. Give your teens the chance to practice in all the aspects of financial planning and these ropes will help them in their further life. They don’t need to be financial experts, but the risk of impulsive spending, the need of saving, and avoiding too much risk in investments are items they need to know about in financial planning.

Seeking A Cpa Who Also

Question by BMD: Seeking a CPA who also will serve as a Financial Advisor (Planner/Counselor)?
What is the best avenue in seeking a Certified Public Accountant who also will serve as a financial advisor (planning and counseling). I need one who is in Atlanta, holds his/her CPA, patient with me as I do ask a lot of questions, but i have to understand, and sometimes it takes me longer to understand “things” because I am not a financial wizard. My husband and I do make a tremendous income (we are fortunate), and we DO not have any debt outside our mortgage and one car payment, and we are currently aggressively paying down our mortgage, and since my first payment, we have made additional payments each month where we will actually pay our car off in one year, and with it only 1% interest, we are not focused on it too much right now). I share this b/c it seems that if I call my insurance agent, current broker, and/or anyone else we have money invested, I get on their nerves (seems like they don’t want to hear from me, but lovemy “auto” renewals). Help. I need direct guidance.

Becoming A Certified Diabetes Educator: Training to Help Others

Becoming a certified diabetes educator is a marvellous career choice. Before being employed in this particular career, individuals will have to become certified. The main objective of the job will involve teaching people with diabetes self management strategies.

There are a few requirements you will have to fulfill before you can even become certified.

To work towards this particular certification, you’ve got to already be a licensed RN, or other health care professional. You may also be a healthcare professional with a master’s degree in nutrition, social work, health education, or some other area of public health. If you don’t match one of those categories then you will have to accomplish this before seeking this qualification.

Another important prerequisite is you will need to have a minimum of two years experience in your present field.

So, as an example, if you are currently a registered nurse, you will have to have a minimum of 24 months of professional experience as a registered nurse. In addition, you need to have at least 1,000 hours of Diabetes Self Management Education. Of the 1,000 hours, at least forty percent will have to be within 12 months of submitting the application.

Another prerequisite is 15 hours of continuing education on the subject of diabetes. These will have to be taken within two years of going for certification. There are several ways to satisfy this continuing education requirement. For instance, workshop, online programs, conferences and seminars

After you have satisfied all of the requirements, you’re ready to apply to take the certification test. After getting approval to take the test, you will have to set up an appointment. These exams are taken at different computers at testing centers throughout The United States. You’ll have 4 hours to complete this 200 multiple choice question test.

After you have completed the test, your part is done. Now you must patiently wait to see if you have passed.

It is important that you are properly prepared for the exam so as you are going through your training be sure that you pay attention and take notes about the subjects that you are not clear on. Make sure that the continuing education
