St Lukes Of Iowa Selects

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 16, 2012

strategicplanningMD, the leading provider of strategic planning software for the healthcare industry, announced today that St. Luke?s Hospital, one of Iowa?s leading healthcare providers, is the latest organization to adopt its web-based technology platform. Serving the Cedar Rapids market, St. Luke?s is best known for its commitment to quality, patient safety, and overall excellence. The organization, a member of Iowa Health System, has been named by US News & World Report as a high-performing hospital, by Becker?s Hospital Review as one of 65 great community hospitals, and as a Top 100 Hospital by Thomson Reuters.

strategicplanningMD offers healthcare organizations web-based systems and consulting services designed to drive financial and operational performance through enhanced focus on high-priority areas for growth and quality improvement. Its suite of web-based software applications includes best-of-breed methodology, as well as a variety of business intelligence offerings. St. Luke?s Hospital will deploy the technology to provide enhanced planning tools, especially in the areas of implementation accountability and the tracking of results through various dashboards and scorecards.

?We are delighted to to serve an organization that is such a pacesetter in healthcare quality and safety,? said strategicplanningMD founder and Chief Executive Officer Scott Regan. ?St. Luke?s has a long and storied history of delivery outstanding patient care, and for us to be able to assist their leadership team with achieving their most urgent goals and objectives is humbling.?

St. Luke?s is a not-for-profit hospital with roots that date back to 1884, organized as Cedar Rapids? first hospital. In 2009, St. Luke’s marked a major milestone ? 125 years of caring for eastern Iowans; the hospital?s original cornerstone remains today in the hospital chapel, but the face of St. Luke’s is dramatically different than its humble beginnings.

According to historical records, the original St. Luke’s hospital had the capacity for 15 beds. Today, St. Luke’s is a fully accredited 532-bed hospital serving a seven-county area surrounding Cedar Rapids. St. Luke’s offers a wide range of patient care services with strengths in heart care, obstetrics, newborn intensive care, pediatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, behavioral health, general surgery, and emergency care.

Seeking A Cpa Who Also

Question by BMD: Seeking a CPA who also will serve as a Financial Advisor (Planner/Counselor)?
What is the best avenue in seeking a Certified Public Accountant who also will serve as a financial advisor (planning and counseling). I need one who is in Atlanta, holds his/her CPA, patient with me as I do ask a lot of questions, but i have to understand, and sometimes it takes me longer to understand “things” because I am not a financial wizard. My husband and I do make a tremendous income (we are fortunate), and we DO not have any debt outside our mortgage and one car payment, and we are currently aggressively paying down our mortgage, and since my first payment, we have made additional payments each month where we will actually pay our car off in one year, and with it only 1% interest, we are not focused on it too much right now). I share this b/c it seems that if I call my insurance agent, current broker, and/or anyone else we have money invested, I get on their nerves (seems like they don’t want to hear from me, but lovemy “auto” renewals). Help. I need direct guidance.
